Alice text that she witnessed Isaac making out with Lauren, his ex-girlfriend. I confronted Isaac, who said it was all lies and that Alice was jealous of our relationship. It didn’t seem like something she’d do, but then we weren’t exactly talking. I kept my eye on Isaac, it seemed when we went to Duffy’s campus bar, Lauren was always around. If Isaac saw me come in the back room, he’d shove Lauren away.

It’s my second year at Eastborough, and it’s just starting to feel like I belong here. My Freshmen year was difficult, I missed my family, and felt guilty for not missing them enough, especially Nolan. I’m trying to really throw myself into the college experience this year, I’m still studying to be a journalist. It’s always been my goal, but I sort of lost my desire after Nolan was born. I’ve gotten it back though, and my dorm mate Brooklyn has been part of the reason.

It’s my sophomore year, and applying for medical school is still a ways down the road, but I’m focused on getting as a 4.0 for my Biology Degree. Most of the work here is textbook work, there is no patients or working at the hospital, so it should be cake when compared to what comes next. Unfortunately, the speaker for this year is Dr. Morgan Russo-Traver, and she pretty much hates me.

I had been thrilled that Brooklyn would be at Linden Dormitory with me, unfortunately we were not assigned as dormmates, and instead I was stuck with Lauren. Even though Isaac broke up with her after he left for college, I can’t even begin to forgive her or feel sorry for her. She made Julia’s life miserable, saying that Nolan wasn’t Isaac’s baby, when it obviously is his kid.

I started at Eastborough this semester, and got placed in Miner Hall with Hadley, and a few other students from my high school years. Back in junior high, Hadley would bully me, and make me cry almost every day after school, but now we sit together in the cafeteria. In this big university, there is this comfort in sitting by someone that you know, and not feeling swallowed whole by the enormity of college.

Paige graduated in the spring, and once again called it off with Peter. Now he’s dating my new roommate, Elise who is graduating at the end of this month, along with Oliver. Maybe they will both drop us like old hats when that time comes.

It’s just the beginning of my junior year, and things are not starting out on the same foot as previous years have. The exciting part of this year, is that in January, I get to spend a semester being a Student Teacher at Jefferson High School. I think it will be a little odd, seeing that I was friends with some of the students still there. I can hardly be nervous about it though, because I have my buddy Isaiah and his drama filling up my life.

Him and Elise, the ones who were talking marriage just last year, apparently had a big falling out this summer. I’ll admit that I didn’t keep in touch with many, a little traumatized after witnessing Abby drown. I still don’t even know the full story of why Elise broke it off, I just know that I don’t want to ask.
