Once Itzel and Rafael had decided to wait on living together, there was no other option than to live with Linnea. They’d been best friends since forever, this was a natural choice. Itzel’s Dad, Cole helped them find a nice second floor duplex. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, Itzel even had a fireplace in her bedroom. It was a very nice find.
South Port’s local philanthropist and entrepreneur legend, Myra London has passed away from natural causes early yesterday morning. She lived to be 87 years old and is preceded in death by her husband, Randy London, twin sister, Milla Traver, and parents, Holly and Daniel Dannon. She is survived by her only child, Cole London (Lucy), and three grandchildren, Alice, Itzel, and Milo.

Having Julia for a roommate has been great, we’ve been close friends since grade school. We don’t mind doing mundane things together ether, like meeting up on Thursday after work, and getting groceries together. Lainey was a bit of a dictator over groceries that I mostly just paid her and picked up my own stuff after work. It’s actually a decent time with Julia though.

The kids are all gone now, it’s just three oldies putzing around these days, but the kids make an effort to visit as often as they can. It’s usually a Sunday brunch so they can get back to campus at a decent hour.

Miner Hall was updated over the summer, now our second floor has a lounge area and finally we have some vending machines. Mom doesn’t approve of garbage food or the high prices, but sometimes a college student needs a late-night snack.
I’m also a fan of the new arcade games. The main floor has pinball, but I’ve never been a master pinball player. I feel that I at least get my coin worth when I play these newer games instead.

Grandma has been down lately, she found out her long-time friend, Norma is terminally ill. When Grandma still lived on her own, and owned the Farmer’s Market in Millwood, they used to drink coffee every week, and catch up on gossip around town. Since Grandma moved in with us, she confesses that she hadn’t kept up those ties, and now feels plagued with guilt.

Elias switched dorms after Rachael broke up with him. His twin teased that he was being the weaker man, but Elias just didn’t care about any of that. He had only gone to EU because he had gotten a scholarship, and Rachael had insisted; it had felt nice to be wanted.
