back to the grind

Isaac Gavigan ( years), Lauren ( years), Cade (1 year)

Lauren is growing weary of apartment living. In truth, it’s not a new weariness; she’s been longing to have her own house for years, but it’s not a viable option given their current financial state.

Isaac feels the emasculating sting, but he tries to hide it from Lauren. He wanted to pick out a lamp for Cade’s nursery, but he couldn’t even afford it.

Even more embarrassing, he was kicked off the property.

Goss Family, Krouse

one fish, two fish

previous update
(Krouse Household Profile)
Marshal Krouse (41 years), Lorelei (37 years), Penelope (6 years), Otto (2 years)

Final days of summer, and Penelope spends most of her free time with Otto. She will miss him when she’s stuck back in a classroom; he doesn’t know how lucky he has it.

She calls him her happy chum, although she doesn’t quite know what the word means. It usually makes him giggle, and she can’t get enough of it.

I was exhausted trying to find my position in the company after maternity leave, and I’ve finally earned recognition.

Peter works less hours than me, so I come home at five o’clock, and I find them in pajamas.

Our nanny, Lexi arrives in the morning while I’m struggling to reheat dinner for breakfast. I still haven’t gotten the hang of parenting, housekeeping, and work. It’s this juggling act that apparently I’m not cut out to do. Thankfully Lexi is very gracious over my messes and even helps clean up while I’m gone.

november birthdays 2029

november 2029

Elise’s is turning 32, she’d enjoy going downtown to The Red Mill, enjoying her fill of wine while a grandparent took care of Irina. But not only is there no sitter on a weekday available, there isn’t funds in their bank account for such finery.

Peter prepared pork chops and did pick up a red wine to pair with it.
