Finn McCarthy (56 years), Nicole (55 years), Elias (22 years), Lily-Mae (17 years)

Nicole has been happy having Elias back home, she was wary that he would marry the city-girl and run off to South Port to live. The debt involved with the farm and renovating the house were extreme, and it was all for naught if Elias abandoned that dream.

She wasn’t happy that her son was heartbroken over the break-up. He mostly kept it under the lid, but now and then she could hear him from his bedroom. It was an unhappy coincidence that the two largest rooms in the renovation were next to one another.

Scarlett had always believed that television did not depict reality, as such she had anticipated college being full of studious students; she had been woefully mistaken. The greatest punishment was that she had been placed in Willa’s residence hall. She’d said all along that she should have been in Miner Hall. Willa was gorgeous, thin, a model, and terribly viscous.

The kids are thrilled to be back in their own home, and away from the farm. The boys didn’t mind missing out on the wedding, but they all detested staying at their Uncle Finn’s farm for a week. He had told their parents he’d put them to work, but they’d thought it was just something adults said. How wrong they had been!

narrated by: Mandy

Of all the time that we’ve spent being the parents of Violet-Adele, George has always tried to rein me in. He insists that Vi takes my love and good intentions, and views it as nagging. Which I would agree with, but since she announced her engagement to Etienne, I have been very laid back. I’m not fussed over wedding plans, or when they’ll eventually (hopefully) have a family.

My biggest concern inregards to Vi, was that she would be alone in the world after me and George are gone. Her brother and sister both have their own families, and even grandchildren when it comes to Finn, and thinking of Vi all alone, was suffocating for me. Oddly enough, George is more keyed up about the wedding than I am.

When Simon found out about me and our boss, Clayton, I thought for certain that he would rat me out. But it’s been a month and nothing. I never told Clayton about him finding out, I didn’t want to scare him away, and now I’m glad that I didn’t.

We start school at the end of the month, and I’m already stressing about how I will see Clayton outside of work. Right now, Mom and Dad leave for work, and Jake usually wanders to a friends so I have the house to myself. Clayton swings by after I’ve given him the clear, and I make a run for his amazing, red pick-up truck. When he isn’t around, I totally fangirl squeal over his wheels.
