Births

may birthdays 2031

The youngest Pacelli grandbaby, Antonia celebrates her first birthday surrounded by family. She won’t be the youngest much longer with Erin due in four months. She enjoys the limelight in the meantime, and everyone is sure she will be fast friends with her newest cousin in due time. Besides, Ginny knows Erin’s little pride and joy won’t be the youngest for long, as she’s expecting again, due in January. It wasn’t quite the Christmas surprise she was aiming for, but January will do just fine.

She has always found her son to be the most easy child to raise, but she enjoys dressing a daughter in dresses again. She’s hoping for another girl this time so Antonia has a sister to grow up with, especially with Gemma turning sixteen in the fall.

Holden is finishing up his junior year, and soon Tim and I will be empty-nesters. Willa graduates this spring from EU, but she has zero intention of moving back home.

I finally feel like Lainey and Michael are doing well. She’s always been obstinate, refusing to embrace surprises which put Michael at a disadvantage romantically. When we were over recently to visit, I saw them embracing.

ella
She had many regrets in her life, they piled in abundance like forgotten gumballs in an antique shop. It wasn’t new to have one now, but it was a different type. When it came to her childhood and Mom, there were many things she’d have done differently. The consequences had been heavy, but this wasn’t one of those great regrets. (Woodfolk Household Profile)
Mandy McCarthy (84 years), Hazel Woodfolk (47 years), Jude (46 years), Monroe (16 years), Roman (14 years)

The boys were in high school, and with Hazel’s Mom living with them, it made sense to downsize. Hazel loved living right off Lincoln Park, that it took waiting before the perfect house became available. It was a two-story, but much more spacious for holidays and hosting, which was very important to Hazel and Mandy.
