(Browning Household Profile)
Luca (34 years), Nadia (33 years), Kai (13 years), Mavis (6 years), Thea (2 years), Clio (2 years)
The last few years had brought a great deal of chaos to the Browning household. Nadia’s bookstore would celebrate its fourth anniversary in May, and it finally seemed to be making a steady income. They weren’t going to retire like a Rockfeller this lifetime, but it was enough.
Kai had started working part-time, mostly the weekends. His Mom didn’t mind if his friends stopped by as long as they weren’t rowdy. Books were a shared passion for Kai and his Mom, and he didn’t mind helping out; it didn’t hurt that it gave him an income to spend on more books.

Half of the school was visiting McCarthy Farms in October. Lucy had used Oliver’s connection to the farm to book the deal, and the school district paid pretty well. Finn had to leave enough apples and pumpkins for the school kids to pick their fill, and while it was mildly stressful when the fruits hadn’t quite ripened yet, it all fell into place.
Finn gave all the kids a quick talking of the rules, all the while his daughter’s dog, Dash howled and made himself into a regular nuisance.
Marshal and Lorelei Krouse celebrate their ninth anniversary. They can barely believe how much they’ve been through since their wedding day all those years ago. Their nine month old son, Otto is the biggest surprise to Lorelei, as she had thought one would be fulfilling enough, but she has no regrets.
Nico Pacelli turns thirty-seven, and is spending his birthday planning his upcoming wedding. Originally he wanted a low-key affair, while Erin definitely wanted the dress and the ceremony. They may have spent more time compromising, but his family jumped in with all their opinions and Nico knew that he was definitely outvoted.
They’d hired Eva who likely regretted her entire career path since having to work with his Mom and sister-in-law, Ginny. Nico knew his Dad was ready for the ceremony to be over with, he was exhausted being dragged to every which place, asked his opinion, and then ignored entirely.

Oliver McCarthy (32 years), Brooklyn Lange (26 years)
Brooklyn loves kids, she wouldn’t have become a teacher if she didn’t. However, loving them, being pregnant with one, and having them in a wedding were not of the same cloth. Oliver’s nieces and nephew tore up their bedroom, and frankly, she was too pregnant and exhausted from the end of year grading to deal with it.
Oliver McCarthy celebrates his 32nd birthday in the quiet of their home. They are both exhausted with all the wedding planning, and intend to do all their celebrating at their wedding instead. Brooklyn is fine with that, currently four months pregnant, and she’s finding herself exhausted between teaching her high school students and planning the wedding.
Avery and Eden Fink celebrate their respective birthdays of 34 and 15 with some Chinese delivery. Being a single Mom isn’t intuitive to Avery, but she’s doing her best. In a few years, Eden will be the age she was, and she really hopes that she doesn’t go out, partying, and sleeping with strangers. Eden is the best thing in her life, but she could do without the deadbeat donor that helped create her.
Barbara Gray was turning 48; it wasn’t a milestone birthday by any means, but she still felt hurt that her children didn’t intend to do more than just text her a Happy Birthday before their morning classes.
She tried calling both of their cells, and neither answered. She was forced to resort to texting, something she rather detested. Her fingers were clumsy, and nowhere near as agile as her children’s fingers. A mid-morning pick-me-up at the Cafe near campus, that was all she wanted. It didn’t seem like a birthday worth celebrating if her own children were too occupied to even visit for a few minutes.
